A Letter From the President:
_
Welcome! Whether you are a nurse, a student nurse, a soon-to-be
student nurse, or someone interested in the nursing profession, I am
glad you are here. The Louisiana Student Nurses Association
(LASN) is an affiliate of the National Student Nurses Association
(NSNA) and, like the NSNA, we are working to support and promote our
members as we all prepare to enter the profession of nursing.
LASN is composed of nursing students from throughout the state who have risen to the challenge of providing resources to help make our fellow students more successful in their endeavors. As nursing students, we all have opportunities at the local, state, and national levels to (1) better ourselves as individuals and as a group, (2) better our communities through direct and indirect support projects, and (3) strengthen the common bonds within the nursing profession through collaborative efforts. Your Student Nurses Associations (SNAs) are gateways to leadership roles and we invite you to explore the opportunities presented by becoming actively involved.
Please explore our website and if you have any questions or would like to contact us, stop by our 2011-2012 Board page where you will find email addresses for each board member. We would enjoy hearing from you!
